wake-up sunshine

I’m not really a great morning person, but when we are running out of beautiful deep dark greens, colorful beets or chard, or the freshest organic eggs one can imagine, I put special effort in waking up before the sun. The walk to our favorite organic farm, to El Rancho La Trinidad, is fresh in the early morning hours, and we are rewarded not only with a nice walk, but also with some lovely treats:

The skyline is waking up quietly

Along the path the trees are stretching their limbs

chickens on the fieldthough nothing escapes from the sharp-eyed rooster

we are charmed by precious– still warm– gift from the ladies

and delighted by a lovely bundle of delicate field flowers from the friendly man at the farm.….
